Yeah, sounds like pretty bad constipation. I'd definitely start off by drinking a few glasses of water to hydrate yourself. If you've been taking fiber pills without drinking enough water it will constipate you. Sometimes drinking a large glass of quality water every ten minutes for half an hour will offer quick relief.
Other helpful tips:
Eat plenty of foods high in pectin, such as apples, carrots, beets, citrus fruits, dried peas, and okra.
Avoid diary products, soft drinks, meat, white flour, highly processed foods, salt, coffee, alcohol, or sugar.
Prunes and figs are natural laxatives.
Physical activity speeds the movement of waste through the intestines. A 20 minute walk can relieve constipation.
If you use laxatives, take acidophilus (or probiotic supplement) to replace the "friendly" bacteria. The continued use of laxatives cleans out the intestinal bacteria and leads to chronic constipation.
Enemas and colon hydrotherapy (colonic) are also beneficial on a periodic basis for cleansing or constipation. Although, not everyone has the courage to follow through with these last two :)
