Question: Hey guys. I need some advice. Over the past two years, I've gone from 140 lbs to 198 lbs. My height is 5'8 and I'm 18 years old (male) ... My belly is noticeably sticking out, I have a double chin, a fat butt and thighs. How much am I supposed to be? and what are good tips in order for me to lose weight? I want to get skinny first before focusing on my muscles. What exercises could I be doing as well? Thank you very much, I'm trying to make a change in my life. Kind regards.

okay, its actually relatively easy to lose weight, its just that people do not know how to make adjustable changes to their diet. first of all, if you drink soda on a regular basis, stop and drink water and tea at all time. At first the hot tea will make you feel more thirsty but after a while it really refreshes you as if your insides got clean. Then, reduce meat in your diet, and eat more vegetables. if you can't live without meat, eat little portions of meat with plenty of vegetables WITHOUT dressing. and make sure its various types of vegetables not just lettuce. eat a lot of breakfast and lunch and don't eat as much dinner. (just this one tip helps to lose 10 pounds- its gradual but it stays off if you keep the habit) also, only eat until you are full, not more. its actually better to eat until you feel as if you don't feel full but you don't feel hungry either- in the middle. also, don't gorge yourself on cookies and etc. just eat some fruit if you are hungry. just changing your diet can make a huge difference without doing exercise. it wouldn't stretch your skin either because its not fad diets- its gradual. that's all you need to do.

When that becomes easy for you and your not tempted by it anymore, cut out sugar or cut out fast food, then stop eating after 7 p.m. Drink lots of water! Cut up a sandwich size bag of veggies (pepper, celery, carrots, cucumbers), take them with you throughout your day. You can easily get in your veggies each day by doing that. Carry apples or oranges or some fruit for when you have a sweet tooth. The cravings do go away, it just takes time and patience. Exercise! If all you have time for is a 15 minute walk, then take it. If it's in the morning or middle of the day or evening, just go out and walk as fast as you can handle and don't back down unless your dying, then slow down until you get your breath, then speed up again. Exercise and eating well are the best ways to lose weight and to do it the healthy way. The other thing to remember is that it takes your body time. It needs to know your serious! If you are not doing these things consistently, then your body will not lose weight. Give yourself 1 day a month to indulge in one thing sweet or one treat you've been holding out on.
