Men's "one-a-day" vitamins are a joke, but who's laughing. They miss named the product. They really should advertise it as "NONE-A-DAY" vitamins. That garbage is just cheap synthetic chemical activators, not vitamins and it will damage your DNA and actually shorten your life. The marketing people are geniuses or the American public are more ignorant that I had imagined. I'm surprised they don't have to put a "TOXIC CHEMICALS" label on that junk.
A prime example is that they use a petroleum distillate, Coal Tar to make their "B" vitamins. Ever wonder why you pee yellow urine when you take it. Just put it in a glass of water and watch how long it takes to dissolve. If it takes more than 2 minutes, think what it does when you swallow it? I would guess a lot of the vitamin clog found in water treatment plants are from this junk. Simply amazing they sell this.
AVOID ALL SOY PRODUCTS, except for fermented soy like the Japanese people eat. (soy sauce, miso, and natto are all fermented). Avoid tofu, soy lecithin, and every food that has soy in it. Most of it is now genetically engineered and causing all kinds of allergies and other problems. Soy is loaded with goitrogens that slow your metabolism down and that is definitely not good for weight builders. It also contains lots of phytoestrogens that REDUCE YOUR TESTOSTERONE to the point of getting "man boobs."
The make sure you are getting enough good fats in your diet is very important to making good hormones, as well as minerals. Proteins are essential to making hormones, but it is the combination of these other elements with protein that is very essential. If you are deficient in fat, your body will not make endocrine hormones that you really need.
Eat real butter made from RAW MILK that comes from cows that eat grass only, NOT GRAIN FED like you find in local stores. I would make kefir milk at home, not the store bought junk, from RAW MILK as I do each day. Making kefir from RAW MILK will give you incredibly good protein, fatty acids, good bacteria, and all without the lactose or glucose. It has the good whey in it as well. You can get the good grass fed, organic, RAW MILK and RAW BUTTER from: www.organicpastures.com
Good luck to you
