Question: So I am trying to lose about 30 pounds. Not in an unhealthy way. I started zumba because that is the one work out that i have seen success with and do not get bored to do or find excuses to skip. I do that for 55 minutes in the morning (Zumba Mix DVD at home with the dances from around the world since I can't afford attending classes). After work I come home and do the Jillian Micheals 30 day shred workout since its short and more circuit and strength training. I want to know since i have not seen success with other workouts what i can do. im controlling food- normally yogurt breakfast, spinach salad and chicken lunch, and a weight watchers dinner recipe. With snacks of string cheese, fruit, or almonds normally. how many carbs should i normally be eating BEFORE a workout calories are accounted for? i just havent had much success and rreally would like advice if im doing it wrong. thanks! i also use a calorie counter to track food.

Zumba insanity tap fx are all the same they're just made up routines someone came up with in their back yard that involves continous movement they're no different to aerobics or dance and equally effective except they re stressful on joints and hard to maintain as they are high intensity stick to dance, steps stair climbing and do that as a HIIT routine of 20minutes you will burn loads of fat that way especially stair climbing, that burns like you wouldn't believe go slow and commit to a steady routine and make sure you fuel up afterwards on healthy food cheers

use the freezer to add some extra oomph to summer foods freeze grapes for some bite sized delights or get a popsicle mold and freeze some greek yogurt with berries

fresh herbs can really zing up a healthy meal try growing some in the kitchen using a strawberry pot preserve the flavor by adding fresh herbs at the end of the cooking process

wrap up any extra food you ve cooked before you sit down to a meal so you re not tempted to get seconds

switch from pouring your cereal straight from the box to using a measuring cup to cut your cereal calorie count in half

It will help if you do it consistently. Just doing anything for one day is not going to help you lose weight. You also have to be careful to not do too much too fast. Another thing for weight loss is that you really can't lose much unless you focus on your diet. Just being aware of that is helpful.
