Question: Since 5th grade i was a big guy but not chubby i was pretty slender. starting at 6th grade i just got real chubby and i still am. Im getting set for 9th grade and i really wanna lose weight in like 2 months. All i have been doing is eating fruit in the morning and after i workout for 2 hrs. But when i like in the mirror every week i still have that same belly and i lose confidence. What i used to eat was the turkey with corn and mashpotatoes from boston market but now i changed to fruit. Some people also told me im not done with puberty yet and by time i get into 9th or 10th grade ill lose it all. Is this true. If it is i just want this puberty to hit a few days before school because if it doesnt i'll be having a beer belly for my 4th grade in a row. Please guys help me what should i do what should i eat and when should i eat Btw is eating strips of turkey with corn and mashed potatoes any good? You are 14. You do not need to worry about your weight and you do not need to lose weight quickly unless it's a risk to your health. You will not drop dead from a heart attack anytime soon. If you want to slim down, keep your lifestyle healthy, don't think of it as a diet. Eat a diet high in fruit and vegetables, and avoid cheese, full-fat milk and red meat. Limit fast-food meals to one a week, and if you're going to have junk, eat it in moderation. You don't have to over-exercise yourself, especially at your age. Just go swimming or play sports with your friends. If you have a dog, take it for walks. Your body will fall into its natural weight with the right amount of healthy food and exercise. Good luck :)

its all about the workouts,,although slaving in the gym all day is defiantly not going to do you any harm, training in short sharp intervals with high intensity and effort,, and more often is a lot better for losing fat and gaining lean muscle, stick to these high intensity workouts combined with avoiding alot of fast food and you should see a definite change within 3-4 weeks :) i use a method of all out sprint for 1 minute,then rest for 40 seconds,keep doing this until you've completely lost all strength..then do one more!! its the extra push at every workout that's going to get you the results..no pain no gain x use that technique for all different types of training i.e cross trainer,running, step ups or whatever

NO CARBS. Fruit is ehhh okay, but it has alot of sugars! Eat meats, green vegetables, and things with little to no carbs. I've dont it and lost 6 pounds in a week before! No milk, bread, pasta, chips, cookies, ice cream, and things with carbs, but it's okay cause you can eat AS MUCH meat and salas as you want! Look up low carb or no carb recipies on google. You have a good start. I do agree with the puberty part. Starting with any exercise at a young age is good for the rest of your life. Put more veggies with the fruit, drink water not sodas, avoid all meats and exercise those abs. Sit ups, bicycle in the air, jog in place, crunches. The best exercise is holding your tummy at the same time. good luck
