Question: i mean exercises and stuff, what worked for you, or what is it that you just know works? whats the normal weight for a twelve year old girl who is 60 inches high?

First of all, don't listen to these lame acai berry spammers. It's annoying because they are literally everywhere. Anyway, back to you question, there are no easy ways to lose weight. Deciding to lose weight for health issues is a good decision, but it requires dedication and hardwork to achieve this momentous goal. First, you must have a plan of attack, because failure to plan is planning to fail. You've already assessed how much you weigh: that's step 1. Now you have to say how much you want to lose and in what time span. These are 2 important steps because this is where a lot of people mess up. Either they will want to lose too much or expect to lose a ridiculous amount of weight in a short amount of time. Remember, there are no healthy short cuts to losing weight. Once you have done this, you can go to the next step. The next step is planning out a healthy diet. Google mypyramid.gov, it's a website run by the USDA and it has a free online calculator where you can roughly estimate how many calories you should be eating a day along with the proportions of fruits, vegetables, grains, and meat for a person of your age, height, weight, and level of physical activity. Once you have done this, look it over and make actual changes to your diet. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF!!!! This is another problem that people do. Also, try to eat 5 to 6 light meals instead of eating the traditional 3 meals. Spacing things out through the day will help you keep satisfied instead of making your body try to digest everything at once. The guideline that the website gives you is quite accurate, but if you feel that it isn't enough, then change it or ask a doctor or athletic trainer or nutritionist about your diet. Then, stick to it! Don't falter! It's ok to indulge every once in a while, so don't beat yourself up over it. But stay strong, and you can do it. Now, it's time for exercise. Create an exercise plan that focuses mostly on cardiovascular activity for overall weight loss and use muscular endurance/strength exercises to specifically tone areas of your body. Good cardiovascular exercises include running, walking, dancing, and swimming (very, very good for you I really recommend it). For muscular endurance/strength exercises, well there are numerous ones to chose from. For targeting the belly, do crunches, situps, oblique crunches (for the love handles), dips, bridges, leg lifts, and even pushups (you have to tighten your abs to keep your body straight). When you first start out, don't over work yourself. Start out gradually with your reps, sets, time of exercise, and frequency during the week, and slowly increase them over time when you become stronger. Well, that's all I can think of right now. Any weight is good for a 12 year old girl. 100-120 is perfect even over that is pefect. Your 12. Your fineee. If you must.. EAT WHAT YOU WANT. just don't over eat and eat when your hungrrry not whne your full. eat the right portions. and just be a kid. run aroundd have funn join a dance team dancing helps. join track. basically join a sport and just keep yourslef active. Girls are so insecure these days. [Track helped me :)] BTW- in tack you'll gain pounds from muscle mass. but loose the fat. and be skinnier. and healthy.

12 years old uh...and wants to lose weight.... well sweety....fast pace walking for about 20 minutes a day does the trick ....i am alot older and i walk 2 miles everyday...but that is what my oldest son done when he was young and wanted to lose a few pounds.....but sweety...you are still so young and your body and weight will change on its own....but there is no problem with to lose maybe a few pounds...please...just don't over do it...

There is no way to lose pounds easily. There are different methods, but they all deteriorate your health. The weight differs, there is no real weight that you should be. Depends on where you think you are and where you want to be

just walk and walk no sweets or flour stuff like bread pasta but dont starve ur self just eat healthy that diet made my dad lose 8 pounds
