My (BMI) is 23.6 and im 5'8 and weight 155-pounds
Could i safely lose 30 pounds without having any heath affects such as losing my period?

This depends a lot on how you are losing the weight.
If you are continuing to eat regularly and healthily while exercising and are successful in this weight loss, it would average to a little more than a couple pounds a week. This is quite a drastic change for the body, but it is not really too too much. If exercising vigorously, losing your period is really not something to be concerned about. Often times when I would work out my hardest, I would skip a month but it is just because there is a lot going on in your body. If you have alarming signs or this causes a permanent change, that would certainly be cause for concern. All in all, a weight loss of five pounds per week would be much less healthy for your body, so as long as you are staying healthy, there really should not be healthy problems.

I think you could probably lose 30 pounds in 5 months without too much difficulty as long as you don't drop your calories too low. Don't go below 1300 for sure which would be considered a very low calorie count for you per day. You might lose as much 40 pounds, but you really don't need to lose 40 pounds. It depends on whether or not you can maintain your current activity level and can maintain a healthy diet.
You can I was losing ten a month and I lost my period but.it could be from stress. You have to burn more than u eat to lose weight, sounds hard but if u eat all veggies and protein its surprisingly easy. Don't eat fast food, no pop (don't drink ur calories) and exercise 1+ hours a day. So as long as your eating and exercising you shouldn't have any health problems. Good luck!!!

alcohol has calories too you know sub three drinks a week for lighter versions to drop a pound a year

Yes and no. In your situation no. You are not overweight, if anything your under weight. If you lose 30lbs you will look too skinny.

You should eat about 1200-1500 calories a day of healthy food. Do some intense cardio for 30 mins a day 3-5 times a week. If done properly you will lose more than 2lbs a week
