Question: Hi. I need some help burning down my belly fat. I know eating healthy and maintaining a good diet is a key (even though i eat chicken tenders with fries once in a while :P). I want to know what exercise burn belly fat? Does Cardio exercise burn belly fat? Does cycling targets belly fat and targets abs? help! thanks : )

types of situps will burn fat as well as running. Anything will burn off the fat as long as you get excercise non-stop (unless ur out of breath) for about 30 minutes a day. But since ur burning fat, u need to excercise 40 minutes a day to achieve weight loss.

If you happen to store your weight more on the back of your thighs and your glutes than your belly than all of that excess weight on your behind has to go before you even have a shot at seeing your abs. You should add lunges and squats to your routine those exercises are some of the big fat burning weight training exercises and they contribute alot to keeping your metabolism elevated throughout the day and while you sleep, so your burning fat at night, not knowing if your a girl or a guy im not sure what advice to give further, but if you are a girl don't be afraid of weight training you wont end up looking like a muscle bound freak and if your a guy the more muscle you pack on the faster that fat burns off. Yes rest days are important to weight training, not so much for cardio running or walking on your rest days is fine. Good luck
