Help loosing weight.?
Topic: Help loosing weight.?
July 16, 2019 / By Bette Question:
Ever since i became aware of my weight (about 12 or 13) I've became OBSESSED with loosing it. For good reason. I was over weight almost my whole life. When I was 10 I was 4 feet tall (yes I am short) and was about 110 pounds. Now (5 years later) I'm 4'11" and around 105. I am at a healthy weight (according to Wii fit) but I still feel I could loose some extra weight.
At the end of the school year there is a pool party for my grade level. I already have my bathing suit and its *drum roll* a TWO PIECE! I want to look AMAZING at this party but I may need some help.
Now I don't want that "OH EM GEE! ur too young/too skinny to be worrying about this!" no! That is bull crap and NOT what I'm looking for! I would like someone to give me advice on exercise habits, dietary habits, what I should eat, what I shouldn't eat, what ever I can do to loose AT LEAST 5 pounds by May NATURALLY. I won't/can't use any dietary pills or special weight loss program (weight watchers, nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, etc.)
And in case anyone is wondering, I don't play ANY sports. I'm more of the artistic one out of my little entourage.
I am 100% serious and would appreciate serious answers.

Here's a few tips that work for me:
I spend a long time in front of a computer screen. Often I just stare at the monitor for up to 15 seconds while a page load or a document gets printed or whatever it is that the computer is doing.
When this is happening I lift my hands up over my head and then bring them down. I keep on doing this until the computer has finished whatever it is doing and it requires some input.,. from me.
I do similar exercises like getting up from the chair and sitting down again. I sometimes might be standing up and might type a few sentences while standing.
Combine this with drinking only water and I am doing something to lose weight. It is not much but doing it all the time it does help in losing weight.
I might swap this sometimes. I might decide that I will not do the arm exercise for a week but that week I will get off the lift two floor below and walk up the last two floors.
So long as when I go to bed at night I can say that that day I have done something extra to burn some weight, I am happy.

Honestly, if you knew how to lose weight properly, you wouldn't be asking this question. You lost the weight WAY too fast before... going much beyond 2 lbs per week will result in muscle loss.
1) Create a caloric deficit in your diet. Nothing too drastic, ~500 calories under your maintenance intake. Split these among 5-6 meals per day, eating every 3 hours or so.
2) Keep your diet around 40% carbs (veggies & whole grains, esp), 40% lean protein (chicken, fish, lean steak), & 20% fat (nuts, natural peanut butter, etc). I've used 50/30/20 as well. I like 40/40/20 because of the increased protein to keep feeding the muscle.
3) Try interval cardio. It does more to boost your metabolism than steady-state cardio like jogging. Something like sprinting for 20-30 seconds, then walking for 40-60 seconds, repeat for 15-30 minutes (although it may take time to build up to those times).
4) Weight Training is a MUST to keep lean muscle on, plus it does far more to crank up your metabolism than cardio! Muscle burns more fat, so the more you have, the more you burn 24x7. Also, your body continues to burn fat for several hours after you finish working out... something steady cardio doesn't do.
5) Drink WATER! 8-10 glasses per day.
I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.
Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called ProShapeRX. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info, also if your in time, theres a limited free trial where all you have to do is pay like 5 bucks for s/h which I took advantage of but in the long run, I ended up ordering more. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.
Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate

Have you thought of doing the Weight Watchers program online?
I loved the Weight Watchers online program!
I lost a little over 20 pounds on Weight Watchers.
It took me around 3 months.
I have been stable at the same weight for 3 years now.
The Weight Watchers program helped me to identify my bad eating habits and replace them with new good ones. I was even able to eat my own food prepared the way I like - this has been instrumental in keeping the weight off.
Weight Watchers estimates that you should be able to lose around 2 pounds per week and still stay healthy.
Weight Watchers has some coupons for the online program:
If you live in Canada you can get the Weight Watchers Canada 25% off coupon here:
If you line in the US you can get the Weight Watchers USA 25% off coupon here:

a million. It's as realistic as this, should you burn off extra that you simply devour then you're going to drop a few pounds so that you must both devour much less or do extra however the high-quality approach is to do each. two. You must do a mixture of aerobic - strolling, jogging, swimming, biking and so forth and force coaching like crunches and weights. three. To drop a few pounds and hold it off you must devour healthily and recreation for the leisure of your existence that is why this is a well thought to discover a nutrition and recreation movements that's shrewd, you experience and do not attempt to lose it too speedily.

DONT EAT CHEESE. when i stopped eating dairy i lost lots of weight FAST - like over a couple of weeks. seriously. if anything says it has milk ingredients, don't eat it. (this includes cheese, milk, butter, whey, yogurt, etc, but make sure you're getting calcium from another source!!) don't worry there are lots of yummy alternatives. order off the cheese and milk products. this will keep you from eating lots of fast food and pizza and crap. and go for walks (up and down hills!) aerobic exercise is great for burning calories, and if you are eating less fat (by not eating dairy) and burning more calories, you will be able to lose some weight in a very healthy fashion. and keep wii-fitting! i love the hula-hooping, its a great mid-section workout if you can get to the longer times.

5 pounds by May should be easy!
Just diet and exercise.
Maybe run a mile a day and cut down on sweets. Maybe you could have your parents by Smart Ones / Lean Cusine or something for dinner. Have a yogurt for lunch, and lots of vegetables for snacks [no fruit- too much sugar]. Remember to drink TONS of water! =]
You can definitely do it!

MODERATION IS KEY. So are serving sizes.
Peanut Butter can make u fat. 2 spoon fulls is all ur aloud or u'll blow up. its loaded with Calories
get an exersize ball for 20 bucks
DOnt target one area, its pointless. do some Cardio and loose it all.
The fit tv channell (222) can give u some good exersizes, or you can try the On Demand Fitness section and they'll show u how to work ur belly. thats what i do
they'll show u how to dance and everything. why buy dancing videos or take dancing classes when u can get it free on DEMAND>
whatever gets u up off the couch and keeps u moving will help
AVOID salty peanuts like cashews.
Diets dont work. Eat all low calories and avoid white rice. Switch to whole wheat bread and plain cheerios with weight watchers yogurt. Drink alot of whatever and eat alot of fruit. Avoid "sugar free" and eat fat free. Avoid all juices made with corn syrup. Drink alot of milk. No pop, even diet. Dont eat pizza, burgers and fries (its cooked in grease). Dont eat buttery popcorn and only eat popcorn because u feel like eating and but u dont need to. Dont eat chicken or chicken sandwhiches unless they were "grilled." Eat fish.
there u go.
Grilled or boiled is the healthiest. Fried and greasy is most hurtful unless its grilled in Olive oil.
Avoid TV dinners and processed foods.
DONT EAT HOTDOGS!! try link sausages. Dont water ur food down in sauces like ketchup. Use less sauce
Eat "i cant believe its not butter", its good stuff
if u buy a McDonald's salad, dont use thier sauce packet. its loaded with fat and salt. Use ur own salad dressing thats less fattening. Order milk or apple juice at mcdonalds and try moderation. If u want a cookie, only eat 2. if u want ice cream, only eat 1 scoop (or just order the ice cream sunday cup at mcdonalds, thats a fair serving size. STOP eatting cones. its too many calories. NO bowls either.), etc. manage ur serving sizes and try to only eat those kindda snacks when ur gonna do some walking or exersize so u'll burn up what u eat.
Thats the reason we're fat, mind you. We eat more than our metabolism can burn up so that extra food gets stored.
Only eat what u can burn up, and then after that just eat popcorn and fruit. Be sure to go for walks to get some cardio in. Any type of cardio will help. Cardio is the only way to exersize and loose weight
p.s.-- if u wanted to eat pizza, you'd have to remove the cheese and meat and only eat the crust so its a waste of money.
Almonds help burn belly fat. eat 28 a day. if u eat more than 28, you'll get fat. almonds have good natural fats and oils the body need and eating 28 of them can make u feel full and replace a meal for u.
Eat sunflower seeds, its the same effect that the plain popcorn has. Chew on those if u just feel like chewing on something. avoid gum, even trident.
use Spenda, Sucralose, or Aspartame in your food and drinks. (it may be nasty at first, but once ur taste buds adjust to it, it'll be DELICIOUS.)
Only eat baked patatoe chips, and Murray's sugar free cookies. eat dry fruit
AVOID CEREAL BARS...they'll make u fatter.
get more home cooked meals, prefferably alot of beans.
Avoid Hi-C. a beverage can make u extremely fat. it can be like eating an extra meal.
thats my diet, it works
