Topic: this special diet i created for myself hoping to loose around 40 pounds!! is it good?
June 16, 2019 / By Bertred Question:
ok. before school i do 30 crunches. then i eat cereal for breakfast(honey nut cheerios), then i go off to school and a chicken sub sandwhich, and a bottled water, then when i come from school i eat something my mom cook,(always something healthy). then at around 6:30, i go for a jog/run around my neighborhood which is aroound 40 mins when i get back i do anothe 30 crunches, and some pushups/pullups. but after eating my moms cooking(around 5 o'clock) i eat nothing and drink nothing but water until breakfast the next day. is this a good diet? if not, how can i improve it?
***when im at school, i eat a chicken sub sandwhich.***
i also work out at school for about an hour and 30 mins
i also eat veggies and fruits around 4:00/5:00
the reason why i eat at 5 and not anymore is so i have time to metabolise what i eat and hope to burn some off whn i jog/run.

sounds good but cut down on some excercise because to much and your body will become tolerant, make sure to add some fruits and veggies, try a bananna in that cereal its very good and adds fiber which cleans you out 8 ) on your chick club, try it without mayo, and you really need some fruit or veggies with it! drink tons of water!!! and its great you dont eat after 6!! here is some other tips sweety and goodluck!!
Here are some FYI TIPS, you may find useful!
***WATER: WATER is VERY important! You should drink an extra 8oz, for every 20-25 pounds you want to lose on top of the regular amount of 8 glasses you should drink daily. If you are exercising you'll need to increase this!
***To lose weight more efficiently and effectively, stop eating 2-3 hours before bedtime. This allows your body to become a fat burning machine throughout the night, instead of trying to process what you've just eaten. That feeling in your belly (of hunger), is the body going into to fat burning mode, you want that! That is the key to the ignition so to speak! Also, you should eat breakfast, this also sort of jumpstart your body's' metabolism. You can also try: http://www.fitnessmagazine.com they've got all kinds of great exercises you can choose from and they even do demonstrations of them!
***COOL DOWN: Cooling down, having a cool down session after working out prevents blood pulling to occur, which cause you to be more sore. Walking around or stretching ~10-15 minutes should be sufficient! :-D
***FOR EXERCISES: Try 20-45mins (whatever you can do) daily, or as many as you can, (something is always better, than nothing at all!!) of some cardio of your choice. Maybe running/jogging, dancing, bike, etc. (yes, dancing can be great cardio- just throw on some favorite music and let it rip! Its fun and you control it! :-D Best time to exercises is the morning, first thing! When you do this you jumpstart your metabolism for the day. Just GET/BE/STAY ACTIVE this is really good and important for a healthy body!
***Make sure you have enough and proper protein in your diet! This is important! Chicken, seafood, meats you can get these as lean meats and make these as good choices in your meal plan.
***PLAN AHEAD: My husband and I plan our meal ahead of time. We discuss the day before what are plan for the next day is so we pretty much already know what the deal is and what it's going to be for the next day. We don't have to guess and wonder, we're already prepared. I can't tell you how wonderful this little sucker is, it helps sooo much!
Know what's on the menu for you tomorrow!
***Look for inch loss, which is a wonderful thing. Sometimes you lose in inches and not actual weight. Take your measurements and pay attention to how your clothes fit you! That is a really good indicator that something's happening!
***Strength training is also good! But, be careful and don't over do it. Too much can make you gain weight in bulk muscle; muscle weighs more that fat!
***Take a look at http://www.caloriesperhour.com
Go to the Activity Calculator, and you can find out according to your specific age, gender, height and weight, how many calories you burn doing all kinds of activities! It's cool & simple, I like the site! :-D
***It takes 3500 calories to gain a pound and a loss of/deficit of 3500 to lose a pound!*
***If you have a bad day or an off day, it's better to eat the bad foods as early in the day as possible, that way you have a lot longer time to burn it of than just a few hours at night before bed!! Also, eat you bigger meals earlier, in this same regard of burning it off!
do your best to ensure you re not eating after 7 o clock at night you re more likely to make unhealthy choices and less likely to sleep as well after a late meal
i dont like it because your eating is not spaced out enough. you only eat 3 times a day. if you want to lose that kind of weight i would suggest seeing a nutritionist... only way it will truly work
No, it's not a good diet.
Stick to natural unprocessed foods. Eat 5 to 6 small meals spaced about every 2.5 to 3 hours.
1. follow the above eating plan
2. do cardio 4 times per week
3. lift weights 2 times per week

Starving yourself is not a good thing. It actually teaches your body to store more fat the next time you start eating more often. When you starve yourself your fat cells shrink, then split up when you start eating again. Thats what is called the yoyo effect. each time you stop starving you gain it back double. The proper way to lose weight is to eat 5 small meals a day about 2 to 3 hours apart and drink lots of water. No Juices, soft drinks or soda. Strictly water. if you start eating at 8am you should end before 6:30pm. Do NOT EAT after 6:30 pm. Drink water at night. it will be rough on you for about 2 weeks or so until your body adapts. Then in a month you will start to notice clothes fitting loose on you. stick with the diet and you should lose weight naturally. Your metabolism will pick up the pace. of course it also helps to be a bit more active with your lifestyle (walking more often, playing handball etc.) I lost 35 lbs without ever going to a gym. People ask me what excercise plan I do etc. They don't believe that I did it without straining myself physically. Give it a try. Fuetaso
