A good bodybuilding diet needs to follow 3 rules: 1.It should favor smaller and frequent feedings throughout the day instead of smaller ones. 2.Every meal should have carbohydrates, protein and fat in the correct ratios: 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20 % good fats. 3.The calories should be cycled to prevent the metabolism from getting used to a certain caloric level. Sample Bodybuilding Diet For Men Meal 1 (7 AM) 1 cup of dry oats mixed with water 1 cup of egg beaters Meal 2 (9 AM) Meal replacement packet like Prolab's Lean Mass Complex (which has a 40/40/20 nutrient ratio) mixed with water or a protein powder (with around 40 grams of protein) mixed with 40 grams of carbs from cream of rice, grits, or oatmeal. 1 Tablespoon of Flaxseed Oil (Spectrum brand is best) Meal 3 (12 Noon) 1 cup of brown rice, or medium sized baked potato, or 1 cup of oatmeal 2 cups of green beans, broccoli or any other desired vegetable 6-8 ounces of chicken, turkey, or lean fish Meal 4 (3 PM) Same as Meal 2 Meal 5 (6 PM) 1 cup of brown rice, or medium sized baked potato, or 1 cup of oatmeal 2 cups of green beans, broccoli or any other desired vegetable 6-8 ounces of chicken, turkey, or lean fish Meal 6 (8 PM) Same as Meal 2 Recommended Basic Bodybuilding Supplements For Men (Essential to take) Definitely make sure that you cover at least the basics of supplementation which are a Multiple Vitamin and Mineral formula, 3 grams of Vitamin C split in 3 equal servings throughout the day, 200mcg of Chromium Picolinate, and essential fatty acids coming from either fish oils, flaxseed oil or extra virgin olive oil. Also, for convenience purposes a good meal replacement or protein powder is a great way to add valuable calories and nutrients to your diet.

In short, second plan. In your case you will be better off going for the second plan, to split your muscle groups into different days. With your current routine you're only giving a day of rest after each full body workout. If I was to summarize your current plan in short, you're over training/not giving enough rest days. In the long run, you will see muscle mass decreasing instead of increasing, and your strength may also decrease as well(current plan), since as you continue this plan you will likely build up your routine to be much more intense than before, and as this continues on with only a day of rest in between, you will be over training even more. With the second plan, you can increase the number of days of rest between the workouts, so your muscle has longer time to rebuild to get bigger and stronger. Remember, that during any day, whether it's your workout day or rest day, give yourself the necessary diet to support your goal for maximum gains. Even on the days you don't workout, your muscles are still needing the energy to grow. Your muscles grows during rest, while they're broken down during the workout.

6 to 8 is probably too many for even bodybuilders. 5 to 6 maybe. If you can eat 1 gram of protein per pound of weight, you'll have more than enough protein to build regardless of how heavy you lift. The eating only gives you the fuel and ability to gain mass - the heavy lifting does it. Cottage cheese, turkey, chicken breast, protein shakes, egg whites, etc.

to benefit weight you will possibly be able to desire to eat extra energy than you burn. purely consume plenty... extra effective than you presently do. be sure you're starting to be to be an outstanding form of protein (purpose for one million gram in keeping with pound of bodyweight) and complete energy. try this each and every meal, no longer in trouble-free terms breakfast.

If you are planning on being a bodybuilder with no suppliments at all...then i recommend you eat ALOT of high protein foods preferably grilled chicken, eggs, fish, and lean beaf. You will need to increase your caloric intake dramaticly with healthy foods to feed your body the proper amount of Proteins and BCAAs It will be very hard and will have to eat alot more than a regular bodybuilder would...Bodybuilding supplements are used to replace meals, enhance weight gain, promote weight loss or improve athletic performance.
