What to do? Get off the hCG as soon as possible. The "HCG diet" is unsafe and unproven. Note: "In 1954, Dr. Albert T. Simeons, a British-physician claimed HCG injections would allow dieters to manage more easily on a 500 calorie per day diet. However, **HE HAD NO CLINICAL EVIDENCE TO VALIDATE ANY OF HIS CLAIMS**. Since then a number of clinical tests and studies have been performed to test the effectiveness of HCG as a weight loss supplement and not one has found HCG to promote weight loss." (emphasis mine) 500 calories per day is not sufficient for anyone to survive. While an intense workout is more likely the cause for the pain you describe, no diet/exercise program should be causing you fear. If you read the second article in depth as well as the research that it links to, it specifically states that hCG by itself has no independent effect on weight loss, much like Hydroxycut or any other "weight-loss in a bottle" miracle drug that makes wild and unsubstantiated promises.

When reviewing the research surrounding the HCG diet it seems obvious that HGC contributes nothing to fat loss and is no more than another "snake oil" scam. HCG contributes nothing to the diet and the diet alone, without the HCG, will work as well. Check the following excerpts from the US National Institute of Health...the place where the doctors get their information regarding health research. "In recent publications describing mostly well-documented double-blind studies authors largely reject hCG administration in dieting. Supporters of the hCG diet must prove the efficacy of this method in controlled studies according to the German Drug Law. Until then the opinion of the German steroid toxicology panel is still valid, that hCG is ineffective in dieting and should not be used." Red: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/36096... "Side effects were seen in 2 volunteers from the hCG group, 1 of whom suffered from severe headache and the other who suffered from ovarian cysts which were punctured by laparoscopy. The success of the diet was based on motivation and good information, rather than on the hCG administration. (author's modified)" Ref: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/36096... "We conclude that there is no rationale for the use of HCG injections in the treatment of obesity." Ref: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24055... But every once in awhile something comes along that seems so dangerous I have to call it out. That’s why I’m going to help reveal the truth behind the HCG diet." http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/07/hcg-diet-look-elsewhere-for-weight-loss/ You can find more information by going to USA.gov and searching for "HCG diet. Roni - All over the counter HCG products were banned as fraudulent drugs by the FDA two weeks ago. The promoters (con artists) have no acceptable clinical evidence their "product" does what they claim it will. Testing concluded that most of the products out there have little to no real HCG in them but contain a synthetic derivative of the hormone. Anyone that lost weight did it because they ate fewer calories than they burned. The HCG acted as the placebo to help them lose the weight. The only approved use for HCG is to increase fertility in both men and women. The FDA will most likely allow the sell down of product and then put in a full blown ban with fines for failure to comply. Look for the lawsuits to start against doctors for giving the shot form for anything other than fertility. Next year will mark 60 years since this fraudulent science was started. If it works, why are 2/3 of us overweight? This is the same protocol used to ban Hydroxycut in 2009. As for side affects, following the protocol set out with this diet, you will incur calorie deficit with a diet of only 500 calories per day. This weight loss primarily occurs as muscle weight loss since the body is tricked into starvation mode. The body clings to fat in starvation mode. Fatigue, diarrhea, mood swings, menstrual interruption and cramping are all upsides to this ridiculous program. You do know there are certain makeups, mascaras, body lotions you can and can't use right? Does this really sound like a legitimate weight program? Healthy diet and exercise work ever time.

Fad diets, starvation diets, fasting, gimmicky weight loss devices, and diet pills do not work. Any diet that is temporary will only produce results that are temporary at best. Losing fat any faster than about 4 lbs a week is impossible. Any additional weight you might lose would either be water weight, or your muscle atrophying. The only way to lose fat is a complete lifestyle change where you stop doing what made you obese in the first place and adopt healthy eating and exercise habits for the rest of your life. Here is the worst part of starving yourself: You will barely lose any fat at first, but you will lose plenty of muscle mass, making yourself look flabbier. Not to mention as SOON as you start eating normally again you will gain all the weight back in fat plus more as your body hoards every calorie it can get it’s hands on. Still not convinced? Starvation is a severe reduction in vitamin, nutrient, and energy intake. It is the most extreme form of malnutrition. In humans, prolonged starvation can cause permanent organ damage and eventually death. The term inanition refers to the symptoms and effects of starvation. Individuals experiencing starvation lose muscle mass as the body breaks down these tissues for energy. Catabolysis is the process of a body breaking down its own muscles and other tissues in order to keep vital systems such as the nervous system and heart muscle (myocardium) functioning. Vitamin deficiency is a common result of starvation, often leading to anemia, beriberi, pellagra, and scurvy. These diseases collectively can also cause diarrhea, skin rashes, edema, and heart failure. Individuals are often irritable and lethargic as a result. Atrophy (wasting away) of the stomach weakens the perception of hunger, since the perception is controlled by the percentage of the stomach that is empty. Victims of starvation are often too weak to sense thirst, and therefore become dehydrated. All movements become painful due to atrophy of the muscles, and due to dry, cracked skin caused by severe dehydration. With a weakened body, diseases are commonplace. Fungi, for example, often grow under the esophagus, making swallowing unbearably painful. The energy deficiency inherent in starvation causes fatigue and renders the victim more apathetic over time. As the starving person becomes too weak to move or even eat, his or her interaction with the surroundings diminishes. Look up Terri Schiavo if that's still not enough motivation.

Honestly every ones experience will vary. I know someone who lost 52 pounds injecting I don't personally know anyone who did the drops under the tongue. go to www.youtube.com and type hcg I know there are many people on there who do the hcg diet. I'm about to start it next week by injections. Good luck By the way people. When you use hcg for the protocol you use it in very low amounts. Much to low to cause problems. This diet has been around for over 60 years and no one reported has died or caused serious health conditions due to it.
