The old MetaboLife formula worked very well but all such drugs are powerful stimulants and people who had no business taking such drugs did and killed themselves and it got pulled from the market. Most are just high doses of caffeine; whatever you are drinking now stop and drink unsweetened tea instead. Keep making diet changes like that, loose some weight and your relative strength will increase then start working out. It is not as simple as eat less; they can cause your body to go into energy conservation mode and it will extract every ounce of energy it can from the food you eat and make you feel tired. That's lose-lose. Assuming you are not in trouble with heart problems already, you want to drastically cut the carbs you eat and replace it with a lesser amount of fat calories and protein. If your body will uses carbohydrate for energy first and once they run out it will then start burning far for energy. Your liver starts producing 'ketones' that break down fat and this state of metabolism is called 'ketosis'. This is the premise behind the 'Atkins diet'. Cut out >all< the junk food. Replace chips and fries with apples and oranges etc... Whenever you are hungry drink water first; mild thirst is often confused with hunger and the mere act of warming cold water up consumes calories. Get more sleep, reduce stress, and eat a low-carb breakfast (not cereal!). Even oatmeal is bad if you are focused on loosing weight [very good otherwise]. Eggs & bacon (no toast). Once you do that if you /still/ have trouble loosing weight, then you add the drugs. Loosing weight means going hungry.
