Pills really are ineffective and have terrible side effects. I'm not saying this because I think that you are wrong in thinking that diet and exercise won't work for you--you know what your limits are better than I, or any other respondent here (although, I do believe that diet and exercise is a much better way to lose weight and improve your body's appearance)--I'm saying this because I fear you are falling into a marketing scam meant to strip you of your money and cause you to rely on expensive pills every time you bounce back after a little weight loss.
Instead of calorie reduction dieting, the best and easiest thing you can do is change your foods--and you'll feel much better than if you had taken a pill because unlike pills, which cause diarrhea, gas, headaches, stomach upset, nausea, heart palpitations, hair loss, etc., this plan has none of that. Just work on eating healthy foods. It's that simple. Cut out any packaged, processed, sugary, salty, oily foods and add in whole, real foods instead. That's it! Easy right?
And, here is the catch. If you read the small print that comes with any pill, it says that you have to follow a diet and exercise plan for it to be effective. Skip the expensive pill and just eat healthier--and you've already outsmarted the drug and marketing companies!
If you could take a pill to lose weight effectively then there would be no fat people. The only way to really lose weight is through diet and exercise. I know that is not what you wanted to hear, but anyone else telling you anything else is selling you snake oil.
RE: Water Pills good to lose weight? Don't get me wrong I don't have a eating disorder. I gained 25lbs since my husband got back from Iraq. I do excersice and eat healthy but the weight is not coming off. My metabolism is slow. I don't believe in diet pills and feel the water pills are the only solution to lose weight.
You shouldn't take pills instead of dieting.
Only irresponsible people will tell you how to do that and the consequences of listening to irresponsible people is hurt.
Lots of things in life are hard, that does not mean you don't do them.
if you choose that path you will find a life that is ALOT harder.
If you want to loose weight go on a diet (and exercise when you can) and try Dexatrim
pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be
