Sweet,Terrible,Glorious, year I truly completely lost it. by Lisa Shannon. Sad to say this book is most likely not in any book story because the copy right is 2002 but it is a really good book I got it from the library and going to order it form borders just to have a copy. summary: A girl named Gemma Stone is in high school, she doesn't like being home that much because her sister Debbie is going to marry a guy named Brain (his family is all about the military) the kicker though, Brain and Debbie have only went out a month. Gemma joins the drama club in order to get close to her crush,Logan hes big on the environment, but that day she started talking to bad boy Raven, he joins the drama club to be close to Gemma, love triangle. I won't say anymore because I don't want to ruin it.

I agree with Krysti, but would like to add that you should look up diets. I know that artificial colors and flavorings can exacerbate symptoms. Anyone who tells you that ADD/ADHD is made up is full of it. With a simple diet change, and consistent rules you can really manage well. Here is a link to start: http://newideas.net/adhd/adhd-diet . It can really help, I have seen it with my nephews and friend's children. Educate yourself about the disorder as much as you can. Medication can be a great tool for educational purposes, but can be a challenge to find correct meds / dosages. You will have to really work with the doctor to do so. I know that you want what is best for him, and it is challenging because it is all trial and error. Make sure you have consistent rules and punishments, as that is important too. There isn't much you can do about his father, just have open communication with him and make sure that he knows he is always wanted by you. Good luck.
