Well, it can simply be lactose intolerance. The reason why the evening bottle may not be impacting, is because if she is eating throughout the day, her stomach is a little more full. A fuller stomach means the acids wont respond to the lactose as violently. Normally children under 2 don't have this issue, but it is possible, in African-Americans, lactose intolerance often occurs as early as age 2. You can try a couple of things before consulting with a physician, like changing the diet in the morning to soy formulas for infants younger than 2 years or soy or rice milk for toddlers. Hope that helps.

Maybe try giving something besides milk first thing in the morning and see if it's the milk causing the diarrhea. It could be it's upsetting her tummy, although I've never heard of diarrhea only in the morning from a bottle of milk. Just try and see what happens. If it's the milk causing it then talk to teh ped and see what they think is going on.

It may be a stomach flu or virus or bacterial as its only been a week. It also may be a food allergy. Make sure she doesn't have a fever or is acting more grumpy than usual. If it continues too much longer I would take her to the Dr.

Check her diet for any type of corn syrup!! All three of our children had this problem but we did not discover what it was until our last one!!!

You should keep a bottle of Plantaeris on hand for when your Yorkie does get diarrhea and treat him with that. It's an all-natural formula that is effective in treating the symptoms of dog diarrhea. It als helps regulates dog’s intestinal functions and boosts the immune system. I keep a bottle as part of my dog's first aid kit. Here's the link to where I bought it online: http://www.petwellbeing.com/dog-diarrhea... Dog diarrhea is a very common problem, and has many causes. Often, it's a result of mild food poisoning from eating garbage (or other bacteria-filled treasures your dog has found while off leash). Try to figure out what caused your dog's diarrhea. If he's eaten something highly toxic, get him to a vet immediately. Ensure your dog is taking in fluids, to fight off dehydration. Diarrhea – the frequent and urgent passage of liquid stools – is how your dog's body protects itself from ingested toxins. Food is forced to pass through his system quickly. Liquids are expelled before the colon has a chance to absorb them, which is what causes both the liquid feces and dehydration.
