Question: yeah it was because I didn't have any other food too but now I'm think about trying it again to see if it was just a fluke or not. It was one medium size chicken breast diced up and mixed in a bowl of rice with soy sauce and diced onions and green peppers. yeah it probably was just water weight but what happens if I do it for a week, lose 12Ibs, eat a little more normal for a few days and then do it again and lose 12Ibs more pounds. I doubt that I would just lose 24Ibs of water in 2 and a half weeks. Some of it has to be fat, right??

Same thing happened to me.. I think it was only about 6 or 7 lbs, and it was more for the reason that all I had in the apartment was rice and chicken so I didn't have a choice LOL Logically, my guess would be its water weight (outside of the fact that rice is very low calorie but quite filling at the same time). Rice is very heavy in water and I would imagine after digestion, it would move out of your system rather quickly.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://tinyurl.im/aHLu8 The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

It depends on what you used to eat. If you ate Pork chops and Fried Rice before and now you have just broiled Chicken and white rice or brown rice and your body was used to the pork and rice. You will lose weight because now the food you are eating is healthier!

You sound like you are doing great. Try increasing your speed while walking. Even if you can only do it for a minute at a time at first. You will eventually be able to walk fast the whole hour. You also might want to try carrying one pound weights in each hand. Make sure you are eating a balanced diet about 1500 calories per day. Drink plenty of water. No sodas, not even diet ones. Stay away from junk foods. You didn't put the weight on in a week and it will take more than a week to loose it. Usually within 30 days you should be able to see and difference. Expect to loose 2-3 lbs a week. The more calories you spend than you take in = weight loss. Good Luck!
