Question: What are some really yummy foods that are high in fiber and low in sodium and claories? i think i heard somewhere fish is supose to be good, but... i don't really like it. sorry. and i like sweet things mostly. like cookies and stuff, and i don'tlike greasy stuff like chips or anything 'less it's baked... any suggestions for food like that? thanks! ^_^

the foods highest in fiber are whole grains, fruits and veggies, and legumes (beans). fajitas with beans, rice, and grilled veggies on whole wheat tortillas would be a meal very high in fiber. apples and pears make a great fiber-filled snack any time, as well as carrots, peppers, and broccoli. and always choose the whole-grain breads, bagels, and cereals over the plain, white, sugary foods.

Fresh baked wholemeal bread.. with homemade strawberry jam.. better than cake!!! Oatmeal honey flapjacks.. stuffed with dried raisins, apricots, dates, walnuts... delicious.. or Oatmeal,wheatgerm & blueberry pancakes are another favourite... I can supply the recipes for all the above.. but experiment & you'll come up with your own. All fruits & veggies have fibre.. I also love homemade veggie soup... .

Fiber one bars are AMAZING! They come in chocolate or peanut butter. Definately try those if you're into sweet stuff.

pretty much any fruit. apples and fat free carmel. my favorite. celery and peanut butter low fat. as long as you even out our sweets and healths you will be fine and it will taste good. :] OH and those honey fiber cereals are SO good. i suggest those too. hope this helps.

You should consider a 3 or 4 whole body 'split' workout for the week. I assume youare going to be using weights, so this would be advisable because working the same muscles everyday will lead to ovrtraining, and evntually a decrease in muscle (catabolism). A split will work 2-3 muscle groups per day depending on which split you chose, the 3 or 4 day. The days you dont work the other groups will allow them time to heal, grow and become stronger. You should aim for 30-40 minutes of weights and 20 minutes of cardio at each workout. This combination will allow for muscle building and fat burning, both of which are beneficial to a proper workout regimen.
