Question: Here are the details, i havent had my period yet and will be starting a new pack tomorrow (02-13-2010). I had sex like about a month ago. My last period was very very light and lasted just two days (I have a normal period at least 3 days minimum) I have been on the pill for the past 3 years. This month, my pill timings were a little irregular. When i say irregular i mean, 2-3 hours apart the scheduled time. I forgot 1 pill from the previous pack but took it the next day along with the pill i was supposed to take that day. Previous month the pill timings were irregular again because i was traveling. I have never missed my period but had them late (2 days or even 3 days) Could i be pregnant? Here are the details, i havent had my period yet and will be starting a new pack tomorrow (02-13-2010). There are a lot of reasons for a missed or light period, pregnancy isn't the only reason. Your last period could have been light, if I have this correct, because you forgot a pill one day and had to make up for it. It could also have been because you took it at a different time of day. As far as protection goes, missing one day or taking it late one day doesn't really make a difference. It is possible to get pregnant but still very rare. Missing more than one day in a row is when there could be a problem. I've had light periods before for no reason. It can happen due to stress, travel, more or less exercise than usual, change in diet, illness, etc. If you have had them late, it could just be a late period. It seems like you are concerned so I suggest taking a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease. Since you missed your period, the test reading should be accurate. If you aren't convinced, just go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. But it could be anything. Good luck!

A suggestion . . . . Provoke a period when you are due, it can even work if you are a bit late. You can do this by using Vitamin C. Take 6-12 grams of ascorbic acid - vitamin C a day for 5-10 days. Specifically ascorbic acid. Do not use vitamin C with bioflaviniods or anything that has Rose-hips in it. Look for the cheap generic brands, they are usually the ones that have pure ascorbic acid. Doses consisting of one 500 mg tablet per hour are most common. The vitamin C -ascorbic acid- works to produce an unfavorable climate within the uterus so that the egg does not implant, or cannot maintain its grip on the uterine wall. By stimulating estrogen, and possibly interfering with progesterone. Thus making it useful as an emergency contraceptive, when taking it before implantation occurs. Progesterone is needed to prepare the uterus to receive the egg, the uterine lining builds up each month, and if the egg is not fertilized then this is what becomes the menstrual blood, when the lining is shed to prepare for the next cycle. http://www.sisterzeus.com/Hsp1shlp.htm How It Works http://www.sisterzeus.com/vit_c_ab.html If you have any questions about it, email me. I have used these methods successfully before. I take 1,000mg every two hours until bleeding commences. You should be waking up every 4 hours and taking your missed doses at night, this ensures that you have a constant level of ascorbic acid in your blood stream. 12grams a day - 1,000mg/1gr every two hours. ~Pro-Choice Momma; Have had an abortion and I have a 13 month old daughter . Before you purchase a experiment determine if you're experiencing any of the indications concerning being pregnant. Some natural signs incorporate : constipation, backaches, complications, exhaustion, unusual cravings, gentle/swollen breasts, improved siliva, improved frame temperature, nausea that can or would possibly not intent vomiting, and/or thick white vaginal discharge. For a extra entire record you'll realistic google it. Anyways of direction there's a probability you're pregnant. If consider you can be then you definitely will have to take a experiment. If are already overdue for your interval then the experiment will have to pop out correct so long as it's taken properly. However you will have to continuously take a couple of experiment since one would possibly pop out fake-optimistic if the detective hormone phases aren't top ample. You have a medical problem. It's probably not related to the birth control pills. Call your doctor right away, and ask for the earliest appointment available. Make sure you have the dates written down to tell him your bleeding history as accurately as possible. Also explain to him/her your back pain, your weight loss, etc. The doctor will do a thorough physical examination plus lab work. Don't waste any time getting this done.
