Question: Last year, I had really bad insomnia like I couldn't even take naps or anything. Eventually it went away during the school year, but now it's coming back and it's not "officially summer" yet because I still have school and exams. How to prevent becoming an insomniac this summer? Btw, last year I tried everything anyone could possibly think of and nothing worked.

The main symptom is sleep deprivation which can leave an insomniac feeling like exhausted in the day. Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!! 1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems. 2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday. Insomnia is often caused by fear, stress, anxiety, medications, herbs, caffeine, depression or sometimes for no apparent reason. Make sure your bedroom is quiet and dark.
