When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

A diet is not about numbers on a scale or counting calories... it is about achieving balance in nutrition so your body has what it needs to replace and repair tissue. Hit a bookstore... even a used bookstore and check into the diets called "Fit for Life" or Somersize. The latter is a whole series that includes a lot of research and recipes. What you are going to be doing is separating carbohydrates from fats. This is essentially French style eating. For example, you can eat full-fat alfredo sauce over veggies and meats, but not over pasta (which would be a heart-attack on a plate). You can have a big salad with bacon, cheese and hardboiled eggs and your favorite greens and other veggies and be full. Fats and protein fill you up and make you skinny while carbs make you hungry. Fruits are eaten completely alone... either an hour before a meal or two hours after a meal. The idea of this is to get your body out of ketosis (your pancreas jumping on every darn thing) and into balance. Add to this a reasonable exercise program and you will likely achieve your correct weight fairly fast. Check Prevention Magazine for more information on easy, weight-bearing exercises.

Getting exercise every day. Running, swimming, hiking, skating, etc. I do front crawls and breakstrokes for half an hour three times a week. I also train my muscles and run on a treadmill twice a week. Swimming can burn more calories than running slowly. If you do front crawls every day, you will lose weight. Eating healthy is important too. I cook myself every day rather than eating out because dishes restaurant service are high-calorie diets. I need to eat a low-calorie diet. I also eat fresh fruits like apple instead of eating junk foods because the fruits provide nutrition for health. Eating healthy, getting exercise, buying fresh fruits and the whole shebang are very important. Those activities come whenever possible and the timing of everything works out, and you control stores of your adipose tissue so you will lose weight. Keep it up!

i'm 14 and i've been longing to lose weight too. im in my high school's volleyball team so i guess that helps a lot. it gives you a great bod tbh. if you're not into volleyball, i think the best exercise to do to lose weight without exerting too much effort (like getting a membership at a nearby gym) is swimming. you can burn tons of calories in just an hour of swimming and it tones your body throughout, at the same time, you don't feel that much weight on you and you dont end up sweating like a pig, in fact, it even refreshes you. it's also really good for your posture. i dont do those workout routines you find on youtube because i find them incredibly boring and easy to get tired of. p.s. i don't swim to lose weight and all, in fact, i don't even know how to swim. i just think it's really great for you, your health, and your body and tons, tons, tons of people have been talking about how great it is for slimming down.

People that lose weight the healthy way do it slowly and their body has a chance to tone up and keep up with itself. People that have their stomachs stapled, lose weight pretty quickly and they lose it too fast leaving them with a mass of flabby skin.
